Advice on Moving w/ my Chams

So just found out I am moving at the end of the month, about 45 minutes from where I am now. I will have movers but I will be packing. I will have the keys a few days before the move and I am wondering how I should facilitate moving the chams.

I was thinking of tearing down the enclosures and moving it all a day or so before the actual move and then going down and setting them back up. Everything is on timers and I can put food in. and leave the until we get there the next day.

What are people's experiences with moving Chams.

How have you accomplished a fairly local move?

How long can I leave them in a travelling container and should it be heated or left cool and dark so they sleep while out of their enclosures?

My biggest challenge is that my vehicle is a 2 seater, Honda CRZ. I am going to have to break down the enclosures fully and take the legs off their table if I plan to get it all into my car, or rent a van maybe.

Another thought was to board the 2 of them for a day or so, then I can have the movers move the plants and enclosures and not have to worry about packing it in my car.

Not sure if there is a place near the new house in Puyallup WA, but I can take them up to Bothell, WA to Dr Maas' facility.
