Adding onto Ringos enclosure

Ok so we should be getting our stuff back. Our stuff was in storage when we moved. So hoping we can get Ringos enclosure soon. But I'm thinking about adding a separate enclosure to it for Starr. Hubby doesn't want me to go out and build a whole new enclosure. So I was thinking about attaching.

As it is right now, Ringo's enclosure itself is 27"x33"x48" with the base making it 6ft tall. If I added it with the divided wall, Starr's section should be 24"x24"x48" with the base making it 6ft tall. My biggest thing though is should I add a piece of plywood for the middle divide?

what does everyone think?

This is Ringo's cage now before adding on. Ill add a blueprint later today when I get my computer hooked up (using family members computer). What Im going to do is take the screen from the right side down and put up a piece of plywood for a divider.
