Acting Strange

Hiya people,

My little lizzie has been acting strange the last few weeks. She's not been eating so well, but I've upped the temp in her viv and I've seen her eat a few wax worms this last week. She's not being handled as much as I started a new job 3 weeks ago and there's literally only an hour from me getting home before her lights go off, but she came out on shaun last night... the last time she readily came out was when she was gravid and we realised she was looking for a place to dig. Her behavior now is very similar to then, she's pacing her viv alot, and wandering around the bottom of it, but it's only been a month since she laid her first clutch. She's gone back to light green, no gravid colours and she's far to skinny to have eggs again. Has anyone else come across this kind of behavior and what does it signify?

Thanks in advance, Char x

Does she have a laying bin? It is not uncommon for a female to lay an additional clutch after the first, as they can retain sperm for later use.

Ok, thanks, we'll have a proper look at the question sheet... but I think I'll put her bucket back in and see how she reacts ;0/

Also they may have a retained clutch that could be infertile and VERY small. I have had females lay retained infertile clutches that were tiny.

Goodluck

Ok, we've got the laying bin back in and she's digging... her lights just went off but after 5 mins she was still down there so I've turned them back on.
She has a blanket covering the front of her viv so she will be undisturbed... let's see how things are in the morning.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep you posted! :)
