A lot has changed in 5 Months!

I havent posted in a while. I recently purchased a new Nexus 7 (tablet) so now I can take some decent pix. This thread is from when I just got my baby when he was 3 months old https://www.chameleonforums.com/miharu-has-arrived-108863/

These pix are from now, at apx. 8 months old. His name is Miharu, but I think I need to change it cuz he's a jerk and Miharu isn't. Does he look healthy? Sometimes he likes to hang out on the top of the cage right under the lamp so he might hav some minor burns on his knees but I'm not sure. Name suggestions and other feedback are appreciated!

Welcome back and thanks for sharing Miharu with us. He is a little cutie! He is a tad on the shinny side. IMO Has he had a fecal lately? What all kind of feeders does he eat? What do you use for gut load? I'd recommend moving the basking light up off the top of the cage so he can't get close to it and get a burn.

Thanks for the reply Jan! I feed him crickets and meal worms, and recently waxworms (which he seems to have taken a liking to). I gut load crickets with either carrots, apples, lettuce, kiwi, or grapes. Pretty much whatever is in the fridge at the time. I gut load the meal worms with just some plain Quaker oatmeal we have. As for a fecal, he hasn't had one recently. I did think he was a little skinny, but I wasn't sure if it was cuz of some awkward teen stage he's goin through or something. I suppose I should increase his food. I usually give him about 8-10 crix a day, maybe I should try 10-12, and add more worms in there for snacks. He won't hand feed, he hates everyone and everything. I try to put my hand in there slowly and get it closer but he's pretty much just a jerk, but that's ok 'cuz that's what were suppose to expect from these guys right? His poops look normal btw, and urate is white with the occasional hint of yellow. Thanks again for the reply!
