A Good Water Conditioner !

When I purchased our little water dripper for Milly, it came with a water conditioner for reptiles. I have since then ran out of it. Any suggestions on a good conditioner for chameleons or do you use none?

Whether you even need to use one or not depends on your water source. If you are on municipal/city water the main concerns would be chlorine, chloramine, or fluoride. You can ask your water utility what chemicals they add to your water. If they just use chlorine, you can get rid of it by leaving the tap water in an open bucket overnight. The chlorine will dissipate on its own. If they use chloramines or add fluoride you will want to use a herp-safe water conditioner.

If you are on your own well and the water has been declared safe for human consumption you should be OK without it. If the water is very hard (lots of mineral deposits on your sinks, shower, etc) you can filter it to remove some of the minerals.
