A Few MK Questions.

I went with dripdepot.com and had good success. The price point of the MK nozzles offended my inner cheapskate. LOL

We finally caved in and are going to buy a MK. We realized that building our own system would cost more than buying the MK (The whole 130$ lol.) So my question is, the place I’m getting it from (here’s the link, : https://www.glassboxtropicals.com/MistKing-Starter-Misting-System-Version-4-0-p/miststart.htm) says you can add 1-10 nozzles to it, how to you do this and where do you get the nozzles from. @Gingero do you have a video on this?

they have all the parts on the website as well.

You just add more nozzles and tubing between each. They have t fittings for the nozzles so you can attach more together in a line.

A lot of places sell non MK compatible nozzles though I do not know the exact specs. Others can help you out better there. You just daisy chain the nozzles to use more than one but you will need a Y splitter or T connector in order to extend or create multiple lines to the nozzles.

For these parts you absolutely do not need to use MK brand parts as long as the size matches the tubing.

MK is worth the money. They are “slip fit” connectors. You can get them at most hardware stores. I have found mister heads on eBay for like 10 fo $20.
I have used both and the MK heads are worth the spend. More adjustable and less issue.
The get us on the tubing as well. I have not found a Suitable replacement for MK tubing.

Worth it all, one and done. Everything on timer. I fill my resiviour once a week for my girl.
Also if you forget like I have, they can run dry and not be destroyed.

I have also tried to build one. There are $15 pumps on Ebay. I too realized it was better and easier to buy MK pump with timer. But it is still just 1/4 in slip fit.

MK nozzles (and when I say that I do not mean, MK specifically, but rather Tefen Nozzles that MK uses) are hands down the best.

You can get cheaper Tefen nozzles and Nozzle holders but you have to buy in bulk.

The greenhouse nozzle by MK is cheap, it's a straight fitting, doesn't have all those elbows, to give it movement.

I don't have a video on how to set up a MK since mine was set-up before I started making videos. I did however make a video on how to set-up the timer which was the most confusing part for me and you'll see why if you watch the video *face palm*
