7 month panther eggs deflating

Camaleoides

Hi all,

I have a 7 month cluth of panther chameleons incubating at 80° F and a 2-3° drop at night.

I got an early hatch some weeks ago but tonight I found two deflated eggs with a darker coloration. I opened one and found a completely developed chameleon. I am kind of worried about this because it is the first time that heppens after several succesfull clutches at different seasons (from different females).

Any advice? Does it has any realation with the premature hatch?

Thanks in advance

80 degrees is a little high in temperature... They do shrink before hatching and also start to appear wet or sweat as they start to hatch. What kind of material are you using to incubate the eggs? Add some water to it might be low in humidity/moisture.
