6 babies!! HELP!

hey guys,
My boyfriend and i bought a chameleon from petsmart a month ago more or less to rescue it! And we woke up to 6 babies 7/2/12! I am brand new to owning a chameleon and wayyyy overwhelmed! The momma two days after she gave birth foot blew up! I dont understand how or why but im taking her to the vet today. But now i have 6 babies to care for. Im pretty sure two of them have deformities. One i named Boo Boo when he was first born he couldnt open his feet at all. After we washed him off hes front feet opened up but still not the back feet, and his spine has a very were like indent towards his butt. Then one i named Dracula cause he always sleeps upside down and is always upside down but when i went to wash him off his tail has like a bend in the tail so it is always wound up always. We give them fruit flies and pin heads. Petsmart instructed us on the lighting cause we have absoulty no idea what newborns need. So we have 50 watt heat buld and a 15 watt uv light on them. we mist them 3-4 times a day, we had them infront of the window in our bedroom, but yesterday we woke up to one passing so i thought maybe they were too hot so i pulled them out of there. There now in our office so they arent in direct sunlight and closer to the ac. Any tips at all!?!?! Tell me what im doing wrong i cant loose another little guy!?! Petsmart wont take them back until they are 3 months so please help me make them happy healthy champs!

* first picture is Dracula and the next three are Boo Boo ;(

I commented in your other thread you started.
Please try to stick to one thread per problem, so people can follow it.

Not to panic, it sounds like you are going in the right direction. Pinheads and ff's are the perfect food for those babies. Next comes misting and making sure they are warm and not hot.

Here is a link to a video that is wonderful, it was made by a forum member who really knows his stuff.

If you have questions after watching, come on back and we will get some answers for you.

Those babies will never go back to petsmart! Lots of us will buy them before letting them go to petsmant.

w0w, I dunno anything about the babies or that breed but there are some really super ppl on here that can help for sure.

Send Seeco a message, he is mr diy and a breeder, so he can help you figure out cost effective and solid steps to take for your babies.
