2y/o veiled not laying eggs

This is the wrinkly skin I was talking about. Does anyone ever syringe water? I used to do it once in a while when her saliva looked stringy. She will absolutely not sit still to soak (which is what the vet suggested and I almost laughed), and I don't want to keep spending $35 per sub q fluid injection, which didn't really change much anyway. I'm hoping lowering her basking temp will help.

Have you tried Misting with a spray bottle, my Cham Clyde had the same problem when he first came to me and I used a spray bottle (most likely won’t like it if you’ve never used one) the results where fine he got back to his old self in a week

They all hate getting misted, initially, but after a few minutes of very fine mist (I recommend one of those sprayer bottles that people use to spray weeds in the yard and stuff.) They usually come around and quit focusing on the water droplets that are touching them :)eek: Heaven forbid!!) and start to realize they can drink. The wrinkled skin is a sign of dehydration. What do her poops look like? Chronic dehydration will cause many issues with everything, including egg laying. I recommend getting her/him dna tested, after you get her rehydrated and in a little more stable condition. Then you will know exactly what she /he is.

I watch her sit right under the automatic mistings, but I'll try the spray bottle too. Unfortunately things look worse now. I just watched her attempt to get a couple crickets but she was moving slowly, a little wobbly, and her tongue wouldn't extend. When she opened her mouth it was just a huge spit bubble so I syringed her a few drops and gave her a good misting. Poops look ok, I'm taking her to the vet in the morning so I hope she gives me a good sample to bring. She was also rubbing her head/eyes on the branches, but that could just be from a few flakes left from shedding earlier this month. It brings me to tears watching her struggle even a little bit, so I'm really grateful for this community and all the help/kind responses.

She has liver and GI problems, on 2 meds and a special diet now. Did x rays and bloodwork- the vet says it's impossible to know the source of the renal problem or GI problem which is a bit frustrating. He sent the x rays to a reptile specialist who said her abdomen looks dense but they can't tell what's in there- usually they can tell pretty quickly if it's eggs so they don't think it's that. Has anyone had success coming back from liver troubles? As far as her abdomen goes, vet asked about foreign objects but I would be shocked if that was it, and I'm really afraid of doing any sort of procedure.

Sorry to hear she's sick.
What meds is she on and what diet?
How did the vet determine she has liver and GI problems?

Sorry she's not well.
What's the temperature in the basking area?
What meds is she on? What diet?
How did the vet determine she has liver and GI issues?

The liver issue was determined by the levels in her bloodwork, and the GI problem was determined by the x rays. He also said bones look good but calcium is too high at this point. She is on metronidozole and metoclopramide for GI, and Oxbow Carnivore Care that I mix with water and feed her by syringe 3x/day which is the hardest part. Her basking temp was really hot and I thought it might be contributing to her dehydration, so I changed the bulb and it's down to 80-85. I'm not giving her any crickets for now. The vet said I can offer some mealworms but with the gavage I feel like that would be too much for now. We're on day 5 of 7 for meds and diet.
