2 month old panther keeping one eye shut

Hi, chameleon is eating and drinking fine. His left eye seems closed most of the time. He does open it if handled or if hunting before he shoots but. It seems swollen and shut Or sucked in and shut most of the time. It’s been about a week like this. I have misted him and I’m
Not sure if it’s helping. Eats fruit flies dusted in calcium and vitamin once every few weeks. The last photo is his “Good eye”. U can see the first three photos his bad eye. He opened it for the picture in the third one.

I would take to the vet being that young. You can see even with it open don't look right. Until you can get to vet can try longer misting and add one just after lights to try and help him flush it out. If clears up cancel if not take him to vet

I use a T5 strip linear not shown in pic and a basking bulb 85 degrees. Fruit flies dusted in calcium. Multi vitamin once every few weeks. I did let his cage get kinda dirty and still water at the bottom. I know it’s glass so I was thinking possible eye infection but. I cleaned it thoroughly when I seen his eye close like that. No live plants or substrate. 2 month old panther. Humidity is like spray down 4 times a day haven’t measured but I make sure it’s humid

Temps little high for baby should be around 80. Humidity is very important to chams for a number of reason. In your type of cage you can't go without having one. If he is not on a t5ho light and it is a screw in one's. It can cause eye damage from not getting enough uvb for his eye to develop right. If you copy and paste form and write where goes makes it easier to go through your information and to give you the answer for each category.

Additionally to everything @Jpeff said... Not having a hygrometer to measure the exact humidity in a glass enclosure is a disaster waiting to happen. They can develop respiratory infections if it is hot and humid.

Is the T5 behind the double dome? If so baby can get far too close to a T5HO bulb. If this is the case please tell me what bulb strength your using. Too high of a UVI can cause issues for the eyes.

It’s in front of the double dome. Zoo med 5.0 repti bulb. Inside the douvle dome is just one basking bulb 60 wat. I just put that humidity reader in there to see and it seems to not change from the humidity outside the cage 45% but I haven’t misted in a few hours so it goes up im
Sure when that happens.

And the measured distance from the uvb to the little vine below it is 8-9 inches? what is the temp on the vine? Most people do not provide heat for babies this young. Typically the UVB heats the area up enough for them.

When you mist him is he getting wet and cleaning the eye or running from the spray bottle? How well is baby eating? And where did you get it from?
