2 for 1 Stand/Drainage solution

Found this bathroom sink and counter combo at home depot for around $40. I used a Dremel tool to drill some holes in the PVC bottom of the cage. The water drains out of the cage, into the sink and down into a 5 gal bucket inside the cabinet part. It looks nice and gives me some extra storage space to keep Perry's supplies close! Just thought I'd share!

nice ideal. I was wanting to do something like that but was told to do everything though my own ideals aka had to make everything by hand. So now I have a 6ft table I made that has 2 wire shelves screwed in for drainage. It looks extremely sloppy and if I could do it over, I would. In fact I dont even think I'll take it with us when we move.

Thank you sooo much for this idea! I am a new owner of a baby veiled cham and couldn't figure out how to drain and dispose of the water inside of his enclosure. I searched this forum for an idea. Most enclosures were shoddily rigged operations and looked not so nice. Your idea is cheap, easy and looks nice and neat. The only thing that I did differently is that I completely removed the PVC bottom and put a terrarium screen under the cage. The water was just pooling around the holes that I initially drilled in the PVC. It wasn't draining quickly enough. Me cham is teeny tiny and I was afraid that he'd drown in the pooling water. Thanks to you, I now have a solution. Once again, thanks. I'm getting compliments on the idea, but I made sure to give you all of the credit.:D

I actually bought a similar one from home depot two days ago for the exact same reason. I got a really nice brown one for about $80. My Mistking system comes in today, so I wanted to tackle the whole project this weekend.

I'm real excited for my little guy, BUT, the one thing I'm scared of, is the vanity setup is about 3', and my cham's cage is 3' high...So once I place his cage ontop of the vanity, it's going to be 6', and i'm only 5'6''! Hope I don't have to use a dam stool everytime I want to hold him or move stuff around lol

OP,
Did you just drill holes in the bottom of the enclosure and that's it, or did you use any tubing or brackets? I'm trying to decide how I'm going to use mine.

I'm also going to have my mistking system in the cabinet with the hose running out the back hole of the sink where the faucet connections are supposed to go.. We'll see how it works!
