18" UVB fixture?

I have a XL reptibreeze (2X2X4')

Do you think it is okay to use an 18" fixture, even though the enclosure is 24" wide? I found a cheap one at a local hardware store and is currently set up. I couldn't find any 24" for a decent price!

Bulb = Reptibreeze 5.0

That should be fine, I would just give your cham plenty of areas to catch some rays within the lights distance. Make sure to get him out into natural sun shine as much as you can, it'll do wonders.

i had an 18 inch on my 24 inch wide cage and recently got a nicer 24 inch fixture. in my opinion is not much brighter or anything so im not sure if its actually any better either way.

pretty sure you can get a dual 24 inch fixture at lowes for like 20 bucks though, if you want to check that out.

bulb reptibreeze 5.0 lol *repti sun 5.0 ya this is fine i use a 24 inch fixture on my 36 inh cage but make sure your cham has a spot or two to cath the uvb rays
