1 month old juvinile vieled chameleons

Hi , I would like some advice . I have had 3 vieled so far . Eating substrate killed the first ( female ) , 1 male escaped in the outside enclosure ( or was picked off by a hawk ) and my last one ( male ) died I think from too much vitamins . I have learned some tough lessons at the animal's expense . I want to get another and cruised Craigslist . I found 20 1 month old veiled nearby . I am not patient enough to hatch and dont want to keep a female , but my wife and I want to experience raising babys . They are going to be sold too young , but I think they will have a better chance of survival with me than the average public buyer . I have a huge colony of Dubias . I can't find anybody close that sells fly cultures or flies . Should I wait until I get flies or will newborn dubias be good until I get fruit flys ? I know this will be an expensive thing where i won't recoup the food cost ( as with the rest of my animals :) ) .

I don't mean to sound harsh but if you haven't been able to keep your 3 former chameleons alive and well for any length of time I would not recommend getting babies because they are even tougher to keep alive. I would however recommend reading this forums and doing tons of research before you purchase any chameleon and then a little older chameleon would be best. Here's a couple of research links attached below.

Thanks for the advice :) . I have read those and many more several times to learn . I'll continue to learn until i die . I am going to get another Chameleon anyway . Just like a vet on here learned that cricket cubes can kill , I learned substrate can kill . The 2nd Chameleon getting out of his enclosure was not a health care knowledge issue imo ( somebody left the door open ) . The 3rd Chameleon guessing from what I have read , had kidney failure . I may not be an expert or perfect , but I know I am WAY more informed than the average Joe reading Craigslist ads . I think my care level is actually rescuing them from the average person who would buy a cheap Chameleon from the ad . Chameleons should not be sold that young ! Reading here and many other places , many people breeding don't get how much it costs to feed the young until old enough to be safely sold . They sometimes sell them too young because they either can't or don't want to spend that much . It is not the breed your pets and make some money . Even selling them at regular prices would equal breaking even . Chameleons are not that easy to sell as most find out the hard way .
What advice I want is about waiting for a fly supply or if just born Dubias would be ok for 4-5 weeks olds . If I don't buy them , most of them will get sold to beginners/ first time owners imo .
I will be giving all my friends that have admired mine and wanted a Chameleon 1 after they get old enough . Since they are going to be sold , if you would like to buy them , they are $30 and less depending on how many you buy . I agree they would have a better survival rate with you .
