We opened in 1956 selling only mealworms as bait for fishing. Our founder Fred Rhyme developed Giant mealworms and brought Superworms from South America for use in the fishing industry (he liked fishing!)
Today, we are the largest insect farm in the world and ship to all of the United States, Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
We pride our farm in that we have an FDA label approved for human food. We don't use chemicals, and wouldn't sell you an insect that we wouldn't eat ourselves. -
