MissSkittles's experience with Chamaeleo calyptratus calyptratus

Grumpy was my first ever reptile and has truly opened up my world. I enjoy the veiled attitudes and that every bit of trust must be well earned and constantly reinforced. My ladies will hand feed, but my male is still unsure of me.
In wanting to provide a more naturalistic environment, all of their enclosures are bioactive. For purposes of constant supply, quality and economics, I breed my own silkworms and discoid roaches.
