We have a 5 month old male Ambilobe panther and he has had something hanging from his butt for the past few days, he has pooped but it is not coming off.

His diet consists of Silkworms,Horn worms, phoenix worms and crickets.

He is in a 24x24x48 reptibreeze with a ficus plant.

He is misted twice a day and has a dripper.

He acts normal and is still very active

Looks like a stuck sperm plug. You can mist the vent area with warm water to help loosen it. It should come out eventually if you mist it. I have gently pulled them out before, but you have to be so careful with that as to not damage anything. I wouldnt try it unles syou have been misting with warm water for a few days and it hasnt come out on its own.

Sorry for not responding earlier

we had no luck with the misting so we ended up taking him to the Vet yesterday.

The Vet said it wasn't a sperm plug and it was actually his hemipenes, The end of it had dried up so he had to cut 4mm off and then shove the rest back in.

He seems fine and hopefully all will be good :)

If this occurred I would personally post my setup and info on here so that others could critique it to see if possibly I could improve any of my husbandry.

Just a suggestion.
