I am sure that you can :D To my knowledge the C.I.T.E.S. export quotas for wild caught ones are only two hundred and fifty animals. But this is a start and only by some hard fieldwork has it been proved that these are not as rare as once thought. This shows the positive results of scientific...
I have kept European herps for about thirty five years and have never seen them available ,even before the days of Veiled and Panther Chameleons.you wont find them legally because of the legislation that the others have said.
What surprises me is that you dont see C.africanus, these are on...
Thanks for the answers.
Certainly not the first photo. They are too regular just like mini codliver oil capsules.
My feeders are fed mainly carrots and dandelions for the crickets, other foods are greenbottles and the odd waxworm. So I dont see it being from any of these, or derived from these.
Today I found two 4mm long orange capsules in by Bradypodion vivarium( there is one male and two females in there)They look like small codliver oil capsules.
Does anyone have any ideas what they could be,sperm plugs, infertile develping eggs( I know that they are livebearers)I cant take a...
Yes Tiff,I went to Hamm :).Mainly to pick up some Phelsuma and Bradypodion. Its a great show, but the travelling takes it out of you. These are animals there that I have only ever seen in books and on the internet.

I have a nine month old female Jacksons that has been doing very well until recently.Today I found her hanging from the roof of the vivarium mesh looking black. When I replaced her on a branch she started wriggling about, which at first I thought was a strange defence mechanism.Obviously it isnt...
I cant comment on U.V.B. bulbs with chameleons but I have had a fair deal of experience with Phelsuma.
I bought an utraviolet meter and it was interesting to notice how much ultraviolet was diffused through the aluminium mesh.To gain a good dose the reptiles need to be within about 6" of the...
Oh dear, I am not looking to make money out of this.I cannot import them from you as your in the States and I am in the U.K.,its not worth my while.I merely want a new project and dont want to buy a few half dead chameleons that will not last a couple of months.I would prefer to let others take...
