Okay, so i set a dish (ashtray) with crickets in it right under Castanza (suspected male) He moves slightly away from dish than just looks at cricktes but doesn't seem interested. From across the tank comes cinnanom praying on the crickets from a higher branch but not attacking, suddenly...
I dont really want to hand feed because i am absolutly frightened by crickets on my hand or anywhere else.... its just they are fast and they jump i dont trust them.

Oh, one other thing..... is there anything i can put in the cage so that the crickets will come out like a specific food or something... i dont really want to feed them but if my pygmy's can eat them it'll be fine as long as they dont breed or grow large.
I have trouble feeding my two pygmy's because the base is coco substrate and forest moss on top... When i try to place the crickets near where costanza (male who's mainly always at bottom) is they hop away or go into the ground... i get lucky with cinnamon sometimes because shes on the thick...
I have bought a pair of pygmy's a 2 weeks ago and there is still some dead skin left on cinimons back, head and tail, its not too much but it doesn't seem to be comming off. Any advice.... should i provide assistance to try and remove some of it?
When my humidity goes way too down i put a rock (about the size of a hand/palm) in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds and then put it about half way in water, the steam causes humididty instantly and it last as long the rock stays hot.... i spray the rock on top a couple times it works pretty...
yeah i bought this container for $14.00, they were supposed to be rehatching, with the larva in there but i put them all in and now there is mold or something growing in there but it may just be the flies im not sure i haven't really done this before.:confused:
