Little bit of an update: I wedged another stick in the top and added a dripper. Within 5 minutes he came down and started drinking from the dripper. He then sat there for a minute and let the water bath him and now he is in the middle exploring.

With the absence of the fogger, is there any suggestions for how often and how long I should run the mister? I assume high humidity at night will be harder achieve.

Thank you, I did not realize, I will see about opening some vents in the room and seeing if I can get it colder at night. Otherwise, we'll wait to winter to use it.

So far I've only been able to get it down to 68-70 in the enclosure at night however I have been turning the fogger on every night regardless, that was actually helping bring the temps down. Should I only be turning it on when it gets below 68?

Thank you very much, I do not have a Panther Chameleon yet, I am still in the planning stages. Do you think by the time I would receive one from a breeder it would be old enough or should I completely remove it to be safe?

Is anyone familiar with Tradescantia Pistachio White and whether it would be suitable for a Panther Chameleon enclosure? I am looking to add some more plants and that this would look good alongside my pothos.

Is this an adequate way to measure the basking temperature? I folded the cardboard so it would be about where the chameleon's back would be, left it for 20 minutes, and here's the results. Seems like the basking is where I want it but now the enclosure is sitting at about 74.
