I think if they are all chemical free and organic they should be safe. I would double check to make certain those are all chemical free substrates. I have used Peat Moss and Organic Potting soil for my roaches and other invertebrates without problems. Best Regards Jeremy A. Rich

You living in a Basement I think your main concern are airflow and lighting for your enclosure. When you have addressed those issues to make certain there is enough UV Light and Airflow for your chameleon I would look into live plants and branches for your Zen Enclosure. The Chameleon Forums...
