Circuit to make a break for it away from Dr. Ridgeway. She almost absconded with his glasses and he had to catch her from running off the table. This was shortly before I put her on the monitor to calm down. 12/30/23

I'd never seen her this color before! The vet forgot she was back there for 30 min so this was the longest she'd ever been out of her enclosure without being able to see me and was VERY upset. Didn't calm down until I opened the top of her box so she could look up at me on the drive home. 12/30/23

She chilled in my hand and wouldn't let me put her down, clinging onto my coat and hand after the vet came even when my elbow really started to hurt from being bent that long. 12/30/23

Vet tech left and she was brave again. I had to grab her right after this because she was getting too close to the electrical outlet for my comfort. 12/30/23

Being on the monitor calmed her down. She was able to see out the window of the exam room door to the hallway, and she always likes being able to see what's going on. 12/30/23

The vet tech came in again so she got shy and tried to hide while still keeping an eye out. 12/30/23

I let her pick out her hornworm for treat day and she stood like this for 10 minutes after she ate a hornworm that was just on the verge of being too large, but the width just fit between her eyes. She spent a long time like this just swallowing and I was sort of worried! 11/08/23

Yet another vet appointment. She kept trying to escape from her box so I put her on my head for the heat. The vet demanded he take a picture. 11/10/23

    IMG_6689.jpeg

ANOTHER vet appointment. She was cold and wouldn't stay in the warm towels the vet tech brought for her, so this was her compromise. 12/30/23

Excited for food. Ran right to the front as far as she could go to get fed asap. 11/27/23

A better angle of the pretty girl leaching my head-warmth at the vet. 11/10/23

    IMG_6692.jpeg

She was angry at being weighed, didn't want to be held, was trying to run off the table, and wouldn't stay in her box so I put her on the monitor to calm down while we waited for the vet. 12/30/23

Receptive again. She only does this when she's receptive, even when her enclosure is tiny, empty, and sucks. Only eating 3x a week, hasn't laid once, & becomes receptive every few months anyway. She doesn't seem to get much bigger or lose her appetite but for about 6-8 weeks she acts crazy 08/05/23

"Kisses"? She started nuzzling me, pushing her nose into my face, & contentedly stayed there for a while. She only raised the defensive arm when my mom came at us w/ the camera (Circuit's greatest enemy). She seemed to feel safe doing this as well as getting my sweat on her mouth, weirdo 07/26/23

I feel like she really looks trusting of me in this pic. For a chameleon, I always thought she was weirdly comfortable at staring at me in the face. I try not to look at her when she does it though because eye contact at this distance freaks her out. 07/12/23

    IMG_6897.jpeg

"Cuddles" between sun time(s). I came in to get her some water so she didn't overheat outdoors but got the vet-recommended time outside. She seemed to almost enjoy riding on my shoulder but I was worried she'd fall. 07/26/23

    IMG_4908.jpeg

Outside time. She wanted to look for a boyfriend or explore or something and kept trying to run out of my hands, so I let her hang in this pot, and as soon as I wasn't holding her she regretted it and put her scared colors on smh. 08/09/23

Still in quarantine with new clean vines when coccidia remained. Unhappy when faced with her greatest foe, my phone's camera. 07/25/23

    IMG_5095.jpeg

Looking MASSIVE in her full-sized DIY.com enclosure with a custom TARDIS background. Probably still has parasites but getting a fecal test is complicated and the coccidia is gone, which is the main thing, and x-ray has confirmed eggs so she needs room for a lay bin. (Spoiler she didn't lay) 09/08/23

Another round in the quarantine cage for Entamoeba that hasn't cleared up yet. Wherever she came from before/her life as a stray is a gift that keeps on giving. Still receptive-hyper and looking for a guy in her receptive period, begging to be let out and running onto my hand. 08/12/23
