That's actually an awesome idea since i have thick mesh on the top of my cage they can easily get out so maybe a few carnivorous plants on top of my cage would do wonders! thanks for the idea.
Hopefully mine die off soon then 😅 since I have quite a few blocks now after worrying about my can walking the ground then finding out is was bad 🙈 has anyone used coco fiber in pots and mixed in worm castings or other organic fertiliser it also has the added advantage of holding water really...
no idea how i have them as i have been careful to wash and use new soil for every plant but iv checked the soil in all my pots now and everyone has eggs what would be the best way to combat/kill them off
im seriously contemplating taking cuttings and starting over but them my guy would be with...
what would you suggest as an alternative? something needs to be there for when he is walking down there or he really struggles and from what i read its the most clean and safe thing to use, i dont free range food (have you seen what one locust can so in 30 min to a plant?😳) everything is hand...
quick update while i have 2 mins :) starting to grow in now 2 days off another pothos going in too had to quarantine it had mealybugs on it, added a very and i mean very thin layer of coco fibre to the bottom since that's part of his patrol and he struggles otherwise 🤦♂️(no problems with it...
I am by no means an expert and am new to this too, but what I will say is that it took my boy about a week to get comfortable. He was hiding a lot too and not basking. Yours will get there. Just give him time. Like you said, it's a whole new world to him, and yes he thinks you are going to eat...
ok well i guess ill just leave him too it then like i said my humidity is 50% during the day and 80%+ in the nights and he seems to be doing fine im probably just worrying over nothing 😅
yea night is not an issue neither is day if he wasn't so scared of the dripper 😅 ill keep trying him with it see if he changes his mind, at the moment I'm misting once a day at night for the 80%+ humidity and he is well hydrated and doing fine (urate check) so ill keep up this schedule and keep...
So my guy seems to despise the dripper. He turns very dull colors, and he just sits there staring at the drips until they stop, then returns to normal. This isn't a hydration issue because he is fine and drinks from being misted, but my ambient humidity is 50%, so misting keeps him at around 70+...
monstera in back right quick coffee then another big pothos in the front right its getting there, stones will be on the monstera within the next 20 min was like a maze threading that thing in
yea he has been non stop exploring today, in and out of that pothos all the time, you think i should put another big one in? or wait for my other pothos to grow? just thinking if i add more its going to be over run soon 😅 he has everything he needs now thanks to this forum (except maybe more...
he really does now he can get to the pothos too he is sleeping in it as we speak 😅
