    Ready to lay?

My female panther laid eggs about a month ago. When I woke up today she was digging in her bin... Is it possible that she is going to lay another clutch? I haven't bred her in about two months.

    Girly laid her eggs!!

I did the ice pack thing but about an hour later it went up again. That was a great idea though! I moved the incubator into the basement where it is cooler and that seems to be doing the trick! I also sank the eggs into the substrate a bit. Thanks for all the help everyone!

    Girly laid her eggs!!

:D Thanks everyone for the great advice! The temp doesn't go any higher then 78 its usually around 76. I am going to try the ice pack to get it a little lower, sink them into the substrate and try to fit them all in one container. VERY CAREFULLY! Do you think the two tiny eggs are going to be...

    Girly laid her eggs!!

thanks everyone! We took the eggs out and we were extra careful not to move them to much! She had 19 eggs! Two are really tiny and I don't know what to do with them... I guess if they are not meant to make it then they wont so I put them in the incubator anyways. Here are some pics I know how we...

    Gravid female?

Wouldn't you know if she was gravid?? I had to try twice before my female accepted the male. The first time I tried introducing her to his tank (well outside of the cage) and the second and third I introduced him to her, it didn't seem to stress her out as much. It was obvious the first two...

    Girly laid her eggs!!

She is about 10 months old. I never weight her but when I bought her they said that she was a good weight for breeding... they weighed her I guess. She didn't lose to much weight after she laid the eggs and the first thing she did when she got back in her tank was eat a cricket! I know now I...

Glass cage for Panther Chameleon OK in Ireland?

I live in Canada and I have a glass tank with a mesh lid and some vents along the front. I can't even buy all mesh tanks here. I believe it is better to have to have the glass tanks here because it is easier to keep the temperature from fluctuating. I know a lot of people say not to use them but...

Her foot is getting better. Now its just her last little toe on the outside on the top and some of the skin is coming off her foot. I have been bathing it twice a day in some warm water and then misting her foot also. It seems to being alright it is just taking forever to come off. Ever since...

    Today....

Today I tried breading my panther chameleons. My male was ready to go but my female was not to impressed so we took her out of his tank and decided to call it a day. When we bought her they said she was 7-8 months old and i have had her for about 3 weeks. Is she still to young? Would it be...

    Dark and Frustrated?

Yeah its the "all in one" bulb. I was iffy about it too when we got it but the guy said it's what he uses... "and it works wonders" I had a bearded dragon before and he had 2 tube UVB bulbs a basking bulb and some sort of night lamp and he was never sick and we had him for 9 years! (I know...

    Dark and Frustrated?

YICKS I hope its not a female! I do have a female though she is in those pics too. I know the waterfall is pointless they never drink out of it! They both have drippers but they usually just drink while being misted... lazy bums. We had different bulbs before long ones because he is in a 90...
