Pez - not tracking food well

Lots of trying, hand feeding, hand dripping water to let her drink. She passed yesterday afternoon… Thank you all for your help and support. It was all greatly appreciated.

Pez - not tracking food well

She’s doing about the same. :( I called so many vets today, none can see her until Monday. I’ve got the vitamin A now, but she’s not eating or drinking. Should I get little vitamin A gel caps?

Pez - not tracking food well

Temp is 74, but she's between our body and our hand, so she's actually warmer than when we pick her up out of the cage. She would go between closing her eyes/resting, and then moving sometimes, then stopping again. Mostly resting though. Not sure though if she's "sleeping"...

Pez - not tracking food well

I'm not finding much on exotic pets. Most are just cats and dogs.

Pez - not tracking food well

She's against our skin so no, she's not too cold. And agreed on blood. But if a doctor doesn't know how, or says he can't, I don't want him testing on her....

Pez - not tracking food well

Thank you. Yes. I was just so discouraged at everything they said. Said they could do blood but then the guy that would, said there was no way he’d be able to find a vein on a chameleon, so no bloodwork even was an option. And then if they got their information from the other vet attached to the...

Pez - not tracking food well

Based on her egg laying schedule, I expect eggs in mid June.

Pez - not tracking food well

It just looked a little funny. Some say getting her in a bowl of warm water might help a bowel movement? Any truth to that? I’m afraid if there is a GI issue, that would just make things worse.

Pez - not tracking food well

I’d like to get her in today too, but the only place that can see her today is the place we’ve been twice and they can’t seem to do more, and can’t do bloodwork either….

Pez - not tracking food well

Oh, good to know. No, that wasn’t me… Can she help at this point? Is bloodwork still good? Or are we too late?

Pez - not tracking food well

I just read the whole thread and I don’t see any mention of Cheryl. Who is she and where is she?

Pez - not tracking food well

I don’t know what that means. Have we talked about her in this thread?

Pez - not tracking food well

Who is Cheryl? Many of the vets recommended here said I can come in next Monday… :/

Pez - not tracking food well

I know… :( She not looking good to me. She’s laid so many eggs in her lifetime, I’m wondering if it’s even helpful to do bloodwork now… :’(

Pez - not tracking food well

Do all these places suggest the high temps for chameleons?

Pez - not tracking food well

This was probably the last one but is likely over a week old (as she’s been in a smaller cage since last Saturday)

Pez - not tracking food well

How long should I expect her to live in general? Some here say 2-3 years for a female. Some places say longer. She’s not eaten or had a movement in a while (bioactive cage so I don’t always see them anyway, but we’ve been watching for one). I’ve been wanting to take one to the vet for a fecal...
