    Maui

So Maui has seemed sort of busy lately. Climbing all over her cage, all times of the day. Up, down, up, down. Her humidity during the day stays around 35-40%, her cage temp is right about 79-75°. She isn't hungry. She definitely doesn't look like she's ready to lay. Any ideas? (she just had a...

    Hiding Cham

Hey guys! Maui has been hiding on the side of her cage, under some leaves, for the past week or so. She is still eating. She's still pooping. She gets water daily. She doesn't get misted as much as I would like, I just started working full time. Any ideas? If you search my posts, you'll find...

    Humidity

I'm struggling to get Maui's humidity up at night. I can't seem to get it over 20%. I'm in Michigan, so it's cold. I don't want her to die. Ehays the absolute best way to keep the humidity in? Her cage is screened. All my info is here somewhere.

    Humidity, Fogger! Any Advice?

How do y'all get the dang plugs to reach on the humidifier or foggers? Her cage is super tall and the fogger I have (Reptifogger, I think) can't sit on top because the plug won't reach the wall socket. Even with an extension cord, it's too dangerous. Pics of your setup, anyone?

    Humidity, Fogger! Any Advice?

Hey guys. What should Maui's nighttime humidity be? It's been around 35% and I know that's too low, right? If you search my name, all her info will pop up. For quick reference, she's a 1 year old pied veiled cham and I live in Michigan. She's misted twice a day, and her enclosed is 2'2'4 screened.

    Maui

Lol. Yes, she had burns from a while back. The one you see is mostly healed. She shed and that little piece is what's left holding on. She did see her vet for it and I'm still applying her ointment once a day to loosen that piece up. She has a cyst on one eye that is being removed the end of...

    Maui

Pretty sure Maui is getting some big girl colors. What do you all think? She has been looking this way for a few days now. Isn't she gorgeous? Still trying to shed that last piece of burn, and no eggs still. I'm guessing when it's time, she'll know what to do lol. She's eating and drinking and...

    Eggs?????

Oh my gosh, this is some level 10 anxiety. No one tells you this when you get a itty bitty female chameleon! The waiting game is terrible! I feel like I'm waiting for my daughter to go into labor lol (she's due in January). I'm so worried she'll get egg bound.

    Eggs?????

Y'all... I must have the most stubborn chameleon in the world. Kidding, of course. Maui still hasn't laid. She is still eating. Still drinking and pooping and nothing has changed. The vet said "probably within a month" and that was up Oct 11th. She has been getting closer to the bottom of the...

Just some updates on Maui 🥰🦎

Hey guys! Just some updates on Maui. We're still with eggs, although she is getting a bit chunkier in the middle. She's mostly hangs out on her favorite branch these days, chillin' under her heat lamp. She's getting about 3 - 4 crickets every 4 days, gut loaded with either cricket crack or...

    What does this mean??

Maybe a little, but I haven't noticed it too much. I think I accidentally overcoated her crickets on Sunday. The poor things died in the bottom of her cage, looking like they came in from a snow storm. So she didn't eat them. With all the new coverage, she's having to hunt them now, so I think...

    What does this mean??

The only time I'm taking her out now is to put the burn cream on her sides. Then she goes right back in. I'm going to get real plants to cover her lay bin area tomorrow.

    What does this mean??

Even if she's not had any interest in the bottom of her cage or her lay bin?

    What does this mean??

Nope, not at all. She's not even interested in it
