lol Don't worry he was only sleeping in that picture lol He slept quite a lot the first few days as, many baby new RES do (Some don't) Isn't it cute? That picture is about a year old as are most of the pictures on this thread ;)

Yeah they sure are cute :D Potato (my RES) is only 3 inches I believe "he" was 1-1.5 inches when I bought "him" :) In a year maybe less I will be able to sex Potato yay! Thankfully I chose a name that really isn't particular to a certain sex. Though I hope it is a male as they stay a lot smaller...

hahahaa Yeah it really is a tort!!! He has been living in there fine for well over a year. Though I do find it a bit odd he has never moved from that one spot before ... nor has it ever moved befre, is this normal behavior for that species? Seriously. It's fake:eek:

**BUMP** Up for sale again :( I have noticed that no matter how much I want to keep him he really is a handful and I have not time for him. I am also devoted to my 55 gallon fish/turtle tank and I am also currently setting up a 5.5 gallon. So I will have to leave this great hobby of Chameleons...

Yeah, exactly Luna. Thanks for explaining. Yeah lol In that picture the claws are so small haha Now they are a bit longer but he is still under 3 inches which is way below the size to sex it.

No offense but their is no way that you can tell its sex at a young age and a size of 2.5". Its true that you can tell the sex by the length of the claws and the cloaca. But you can only acuratly know whether its male or female at its adult size of 4". So you can't be 100% sure its a male...
