Disagree with the ceramic heat emitter for primary heat source, light either reptile specific flood or some use incandescent light bulbs. In some situations you might need a secondary heat source that's when a ceramic heat emitter can be useful.

That may well be your problem, if you use mineral or spring water(depending on source). they can contain high TDs (total dissolved solids) they are treated for bacteria and certain contaminants but the often the mineral content is kept such as calcium, magnesium etc.. as it is beneficial to us...

If using RO water this won't be the problem but dissolved solids in municipal mains water can remain on chams skin after its evaporated especially if it's hard water and unfiltered 👍

Black soldier fly larvae may be known as calci worms or phoenix worms in your location, have been said to contain high calcium levels. I would still supplement them though, and vary diet with other feeders. You can feed the slow flying soldier fly's too when the pupate 👍
