For everyone who KNOWS you can't keep chams in glass

    A couple questions

Congrats!! Do baby chameleons need a live plant on the bottom of the cage? -I figured that the 3 vines that come with the ultimate setup kit that screameleons sells would be enough for him. I already saw some umbrella plants at home depot. It would be better if you can add live plant(s). It...

gonna get some two week old panthers soon.. any advice?

I use a 24`fixture with ReptiSun 5.0 across the back of the tub, no extra heat bulbs. I keep the branches quite low in the tub so that they are not able to reach the top of container from highest point. I believe the tubs I have are 65-70 quarts so quite deep. My chams are also in their own...

gonna get some two week old panthers soon.. any advice?

Tubs Something along these lines (without lid) and place in branches, vines, a small pothos works great too. My appologies as well I meant pinheads to 1 week old crickets not 1-2 weeks.

gonna get some two week old panthers soon.. any advice?

At 2 weeks old, you really don't need to be adding a heat source yet. Most breeders use larger rubbermaid style tubs to house babies in. I know the babies I have right now are 3wks old and still in tubs. I'm quite surprised actually that a breeder would sell them that early?? As for...

    Phoenix worms?

I would add as part of your diet for your cham. Being of small size I wouldn't use as a staple as you'll go through many.

    Rats Vs. Mice?

In regards to the difference, I believe rat is less fatty. Just like with feed for chams, what the rodents eat will play part in the nutrition the snake gets out of them too. I definitely urge you as well to take the pain staking time to get your snake onto frozen/thawed feed to save trouble...

Any bully breed owners around here??

Just curious as to why you feel this way? If you look at the past of Boxers, they come from Bulldogs. As Wikipedia even states: "Developed in Germany, the Boxer is a breed of stocky, medium-sized, short-haired dog. The coat is smooth and fawn or brindled, with or without white markings...

Any bully breed owners around here??

I love Bully Breeds :D This is my guy I bought & flew up as 8 wk old pup from Texas. He is such a suck, it's unbelievable! This girl I actually just drove to meet at the Calgary airport lastnight. She is 8yrs old and comes from a shelter in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I'll have to...
