Help! I’m worried about my chameleon!

Also! not sure if it was mentioned but lil dude (boy) Chameleons have these things called "Heel spurs" basically like a much smaller version of cowboy spurs lol.. They become pretty obvious as they get bigger. Your guy looks so wee in those pictures and from the angles you posted I cannot...

Help! I’m worried about my chameleon!

Just want to offer a comment about the "dark grey" the first picture you posted .. that's a shade some will turn when basking... darker absorbs more of the heat, so don't fret if your Cham looks dusky or dark when sitting under lights.. Some Chams have more extreme variations in their colours...

sick girl, took her to the ER

I wanted to quote a few of your posts but this forum layout is a bit foreign to me so forgive me. I know that the common advice for a "dehydrated" Cham is the shower.. I did this and I am positive it caused an URI in my boy in addition to other issues he was facing. You mention your Cham had...

    Emergency!!!

I am so very late to this thread.. I have skimmed and are you actually keeping a "Jesus Christ" lizard in the same enclosure as a Chameleon? a veiled? and feeding grapes uh.. I'm just like this... are you a troll? seriously? Dude...... a Basilik needs a total and completely different housing...

Can I use this 1 bulb to replace both basking & UVB bulbs?

Understood. However you have a completely open enclosure and your *Chameleons? never decide it's adventure time?

    Sticky goop in the eye

Always defer to Kinyonga.. but I happen to be awake with a migraine right now so I'll offer some of what I know. Is she going through a shed? I enlarged the pic and it seems like there's some skin there, have you changed anything in the enclosure? AC running in the house now? they will rub...

Can I use this 1 bulb to replace both basking & UVB bulbs?

This is literally the bulb that burned all the dorsal spines off my boy and eventually cooked his little eyes as well, and it wasn’t an inch above him either! I have a veiled but imo a basking spot should be no more than 85 ... pardon me if I’m asking redundant questions but what’s your existing...

Can I use this 1 bulb to replace both basking & UVB bulbs?

I'd avoid these bulbs, I was sold one of these as a basking bulb and it rendered my Chameleon blind and he had awful thermal burns. I cannot stress how delicate/important lighting is with these guys. Those bulbs are meant for desert reps like beardies... if cost is an issue a simple dome fixture...

Best way to hang misting system?

I had a small hole in the top of my old enclosure for the monsoon I use, but in the new enclosure I have.. I have found I just use it to spray the plants down and then I spray the top of the enclosure and it forms droplets that drip down and my chameleon really enjoys this. I don't have it...

How often do you feed your chameleon

This thread has me spooked! LOL I have no idea how old my Chameleon is (my vet though he was 6 months old .. impossible I'd owned him longer) The owner at Tails and Scales guesstimated 2 years ha ha ha I know in December he was maybe 4-5 inches head to tail (not including tail) However this...

    HELP!!!

Petsmart almost killed my Veiled with horrific advice/product, I'm currently engaged in a settlement with them so I cannot say much... but I was fortunate to have everything documented by a reptile vet as my arsenal in my case against them, I'm over 2k deep in vet/rehab fees LMAO (Yes I'm crazy...
