Do you have any other number or websites to get ahold of a vet? The ones out here are just saying they can’t help because they only work on dogs and cats. I’m scared and I really just want to get her in ASAP
I have been non stop googling for emergency exotic vets near me since last night when I posted this. I have called 3-4. None are open because it’s the weekend. I called the emergency who is open 24/7 in which they said they only take cats and dogs. I have went to every website they have posted...
Yes, I know. That is why I said I have called. It’s also a holiday weekend so it’s a little more difficult to get ahold of a vet, that’s why I asked for help, with emergency vets. Which I have called. I’m trying my hardest to help her, I rescued her out of a home where people smoked in the same...
Yes, that’s why I said multiple times in the thread that I was calling. and I did. Saying that I want my chameleon to die isn’t helpful. It’s rude. Thanks though! Have a good one.
With d3, I use a 75w intense baking spot light and a ceramic one at night.
obviously if that’s what I wanted for her I wouldn’t have posted this. Please do not comment on my post if you’re going to be rude toward me. I am trying my hardest. Thanks.
I live in Lee’s summit Missouri. She is not doing good at all. Her limbs are weak and she is very weak and won’t eat. I laid the bin and I’m hoping she goes to it. I’m searching for the best vet. I would really appreciate the help
A females veiled chameleon, she’s about a year old and she was placed in my care about 9 months ago, she is handled about 3 times a week. I’m feeding her crickets and meal worms- occasionally a horn worm. I use repti calcium. I mist her around 4-5 times a day for around 5 mins. I do see her...
I do, I feed her around 7-8 crickets and I do dust them with calcium. But ever since she’s been acting strange she also hasn’t been eating as much. The crickets I got today she showed zero interest in, she just kept sleeping.
Is it for sure her eggs? I also read sleeping during the day could be stressed? I’m kinda freaking out but I’m definitely calling the vet first thing in the morning.
She’s around a year old now, I rescued her about 9 months back. I have not set up laying bin, I just recently found about about the egg binding so I’m really hoping that’s it. Her breaths are very shallow as well.
