So, I took him to the vet and they gave him calcium glubonate for his MBD. The vet told me he only had a 25% chance of living and that I should just have him euthanized (umm ok?) I proceeded with the treatment he needed, hoping he would make a recovery.
I started out making him a medical bin (...

Okay so from what I have gathered to try and reverse this is to get a new light, gut load his food, more calcium and supplements (someone please tell me what other types of vitamins/sups I should buy him)
1. Veiled male, 6mo
2.not often at all
3. I feed him crickets, variety of worms. Probably 8 worms a day. I do not gut load as that is something I just learned about.
4. Calcium D3
5. I use the “little dripper” and he drinks out of it often; it takes him a little while to want to drink though...
I’m not supposed to feed him meal worms?
the only problem is, I don’t live near a reptile vet. I live in way northern MN where exotic pets are not common.
Howdy.
I have a 6 month old male veiled chameleon. Lately he has been awfully wobbly, he falls off of his branches, and he isn’t climbing as fast/frequently as he used to.
I feed him wax worms, meal worms, & butter worms dusted in calcium with D3 (I only dust 1 worm in this a day.)
I mist him...
