    Flash's new home

Sorry it took me so long to notice this thread... I've been going through a lot lately. Thank you for the compliment, Brad, and thanks so much for the praise, Howdy! I would have liked to make it look even better, but was suffering from some ADD during its construction. :o Howdy: It looks...

    Dubia Colony and ALL supplies!

I have an established colony of Dubia roaches (unsure of the numbers now, since I don't like them, but there are quite a few) that come with their 10gal tank and screen lid, PLUS all care supplies! UTH heat pad, Egg carton 'hotels' (some pre-made), Flukers food and Gel water (full containers)...

    Wanted : Wooden Viv?

Well, I'm building custom cages for folks... but if you really live in England there's probably not much I can do. :( An LLL cage or similar with an aluminum frame would be easiest to ship to you.

FS: Huge homemade chameleon/lizard cage plus supplies!

Sorry for the absence... I've been busy with building. :) PM sent, Jakedn. And please, anyone else interested, feel free to PM me about custom cages! I'll soon have a 'photo album' of cages, racks, and stands that I have built available online for viewing. :D

New Albino BP from the RMRE!!

Oh undoubtedly they benefit from light cycles, but when it comes to heat the lamp shouldn't really be the main source for a BP. My other BPs have a lamp that shines on their enclosures (on a timer) to simulate the day more clearly for them. Most of what I said was geared towards ball pythons...

New Albino BP from the RMRE!!

:) I will quite willingly educate you, since that's what I love to do! As for heat, snakes don't need light like lizards do, so the best heat comes from below in the form of an UnderTank Heat pad or Flexwatt heat tape. Radient Heat Panels, which heat from above but with no light, are also...

New Albino BP from the RMRE!!

Thanks everyone for the comments! :D I also met Brad, and he's an awesome guy! Got to hold one of his gorgeous chams and bought some feeders from him. :) Oh, what about the tank? I'm known as the 'Tank Queen' over at BP.net, since tanks always work better for me than tubs. :) I adore...

    Available Supplies update!

Oops, I guess I was a bit late updating again. :) The 18x18x36 cage, 5 wingnut branches, 18" perch, and the lock crock dish are gone. The bamboo (which BTW I can cut down for you if you need me to), 1 willow branch, and the grapewood branch are still available, as is the lamp with dimmer...

To all heat pad users out there/please read

I just use a ZooMed UTH pad 10gal size on a thermostat. Since I already have bunches of UTH pads and some extra thermostats from snake keeping, it was no extra cost or effort to set the roach tank up. :) Keeps them right where they need to be.

What stain should I use for Chameleon cage

Stain?? Too messy and too many coats. :) I use Rust-Oleum latex-based paints on all my reptile enclosures. Repels water quite well, looks really nice, and only takes 1-2 coats...plus primer depending on the shade used. Cures really fast as well. :)
