    MBD not doing well

UPDATE: my husband and I went all the way to Raleigh with our sweet boy. They were able to fit us in at 11. We were there until two. The vet called many times in between to be very thorough and make sure we could do what was best for Milo. She was very happy he was feisty. She decided she wanted...

    MBD not doing well

My female chameleon has been gone for over a year now. It was her first batch of eggs. The vet said they were deformed and even if my chameleon was able to get them to pass, it would have been very painful and there was no promises she wouldn’t have that same issue again. My second Cham was a...

    MBD not doing well

There definitely is WAY too much misinformation which is so hard. Even my vet wasn’t as helpful as you guys! But I’m sure not all exotic places are equal. I’m just super grateful you took the time to help me, KINDLY too. Thank you for steering me in the right directions! Will call Raleigh...

    MBD not doing well

Ah please don’t worry about it! I know there’s a lot of ignorant and even negligent pet owners and I’m sure you see posts like this all day. I just appreciate your help. I tried so hard not to be a bad Cham mom, but I guess I was looking in all the wrong places for help. But I hope it’s a good...

    MBD not doing well

I agree. I just thought my reptile vet was good enough. I really did. I appreciate your honesty and trying to be kind. I mean that wholeheartedly. Thank you. So much.

    MBD not doing well

I have done that , and it does help WONDERS, but with him already being weak and not being in the heat I guess I thought it was a bad move

    MBD not doing well

I’ve read a book but apparently not the right one! Ugh you guys, I can’t thank you enough. I just feel like a jackass for not coming HERE first. And blindly trusting the vet

    MBD not doing well

I just worry it’ll be too much for him if that makes sense but maybe I have too. I’m just so worried he won’t make it till then

    MBD not doing well

I do have the smaller mesh one. We plan on making a bigger one. And I do feed him more than mealworms but I guess not like I should. In general, I guess I shouldn’t have just gone on the vets word and should have reached out on here sooner. Thank you so much. I just hope he can pull through. I...

    MBD not doing well

They literally just sent me off so I could “get him back into the heat”. They’re the closest reptile vet I have

    MBD not doing well

Calcium with d3 once or twice a month. Usually once. And I put calcium without d3 in his bowl with the worms so they roll in it. And the repashy I was told not to give often at all. So only once

    MBD not doing well

The vet told me the eye issues had to do with MBD and sent me home with nothing the second time. Just told me to make drastic changes in EVERYTHING because he wouldn’t let me get a word in and by that point he had made me feel so awful I couldn’t talk. I worry I’m too late. I do feed him mostly...

    MBD not doing well

Thank you greatly. If it’s me, like I said I’ll accept but... I really don’t think I’m doing that horribly to cause this. :(

    MBD not doing well

No. I’ve had to replace often. If I take Milo out my cat will climb on the cage. And Milo is always locked in our bedroom without cats. If milos in there and the cats are in there, so aren’t we

    MBD not doing well

The previous vet told me she was perfectly healthy and it was a rare thing. Not only was she egg bound they were deformed but honestly, at this point, I’m not sure how much I trust them anymore. They sent me home with no help
