Some time ago a poster showed a series of pictures of them removing SC worms from a WC chameleon. I can't find the post in the search section. Could someone help me finding that poster? I need to ask them about a DIY removal.
Wanted to add it is not for my chameleon, but a couple of WC snakes...
Just wanted to ask a fairly quick question. I have a male veiled that was rescued by Chamlisa, long story short he has been great eating, drinking, pooping, bobbing at me, with a good grip and no problems.
His casque has been bent since the day he came home. I noticed his crest right behind...
So I have been hand feeding Tatonka since around the second day I've had him here. I still let him chase feeders on the screen every other feeding or so.
Anyway, most the times I let him shoot inbetween my fingers, but this time the roach kept getting out of my pinch, so I held him flat out...
Was in Arizona on Monday, had a look around and found this.
Under a medium rock on the top point of a twenty foot drop to a wash.
Also found a desert tort, and tons of other little lizards. Was hoping for a few good shots of rattlers but no snakes, think its still a bit to cold at night.
Any of you have chameleons that sleep in weird places. Instead of a branch/vine/plants, my boy chooses to sleeps on the plant stand. Which is one of those white little dish shelves, this is not all the time but 9/10 times he does.
The ficus plants are bushy and I think thats why he wont sleep...
Here he is, he was a rescue from Chamelisa. The flash washed out some color. From staying in a greenhouse to being indoors for a couple weeks I can notice a slight color change, his bright colors toned down a little bit. When he fires big time the blues still come out and play.
He is taking...
So, after what seemed like forever this morning my Veiled arrived in good shape, after only 30 mins he is already up at his basking spot flat out on one side and warming up, I will get some pictures up after he settles in and gets used to his new pad.
He is a rescue from Elisa, I already...

After hornworms turn into moths how do you get eggs out of them?
Can you overwater a hibiscus?
I know they like it warm, do they need good light?
Do you have to fertilize for them to flower?
Do they need drainage or do they like it wet?
The Home Depot has some huge ones for sale by my house. The last one I had did ok but it flowered and...
These are some of the other residents of the home. The snake is Red, then the dogs are Twister he was sleeping when I took this-he is 108lbs! Pah dog his name is Sox but we call him Pah Dog because hes the youngest. Booger Bear he has a blue eye and a brown eye something to do with his...
Hey I was just wondering anyone know if fungus gnat eggs can stay dormant? wow I just saw I spelled gnat with a K that makes me feel like an idiot. The reason I wanted to know is since I put the pothos in the new pot ive seen a few count around 5 of these nasties, so far no root rot and no...
HR6311 has been reintroduced as HR 669. If passed as written this bill will ban the import, purchase, sale, trade and breeding of many reptiles and amphibians... including Boa, Python and Eunectes.
If this was EVER passed and put into law, let me be the first to say to say that I for one...
Ok, finished the cage tonight, I built a stand for a drainage pan that goes underneath, Also added more vines for climbing. Im going to attack one of my trees up front for more "natural" climbing areas with a wide base so he can relax on them. I still need a humidity gage as well as a colony of...
I wanted to build a stand for my cage so I can put a drip pan underneath that slides in and out. I was going to use 1x1's should I seal them with an outdoor water resistant coat? Or should I just use something else? Any ideas would help.
