My panther wants 2 neglect the cup feeder alltogether If I didnt shake them out The crickets would be dead and 4" deep. Should I go clear, translucent or opaque?:confused:

That is WILD I had a panther 8 yrs ago that had a worm under the eye lid; it ate her eye! I had 2 feed her w/ a syringe & had 2 put her down after a ton of vet visits & antibiotics. It was nasty. Captive bread [its just not worth having something a little different]
The free range looks cool & if you keep things pruned back the little guy should stay still. I think the plexy should keep the crix inside; I havnt had any problems as far as reflections but have only had panthers & jacksons.

you could set the cage in a sunny widow,if not too drafty! check into a generator or kerosine heater set this up ahead of time; some outages can get big. Is there a fire place available.

My cage is mostly plexy w a storm window horizontal across the back It will use a screen in the summer but keep the chill off the northern exposure window this time of year. The cage is wide open in the front & allows for the temps to stay @ 70 during the pm hours. I keep the furnishings pruned...
