    New Owner!

You can buy or collect sticks and branches, as long as they aren't from sap-producing or toxic trees (oak, manzanita, ghost wood, crepe myrtle, etc are all great!). You can't have fake plants at all, as veileds will eat them which could cause an impaction and lead to death. Here's a great thread...

Who Should Be The Daddy? Hunter? or Bane?

My house stays too cold for that method, plus I'll be moving anywhere from one to three times within the next year. It's not meant to be this time! 😭

    Bloated?

I just noticed you have fake plants in the cage, could his bloat be from eating one? Also, I'm not sure if you have this already or not, but here's the forum's gutloading chart. The more variety, the better!

    New Owner!

Welcome on here! If you want, you can do a husbandry review to double check that everything's accurate for your handsome boy's new home! Two things I notice in his current cage are fake plants and Exo Terra vines, both of which should not go in his new cage as they are dangerous and can cause...

They're SOOO CUTE (your kids are adorable as well, and you can see how much they love the chams)!!! 🥰😍🥰😍🥰 When you raise their cages, you'll probably notice then trying to run out and up y'all less, as they're most likely trying to get to a higher vantage point so they feel safer

Chameleon subreddit... is it for real?

It's literally a cult! One guy changing the way to believe in something, collecting more followers as he grows, spewing nonsense and brainwashing then, not allowing them to look at or go to outside sources or learn other ways!

Is it normal for a Panther Chameleon to not use it's tongue when it doesn't have to?

He doesn't use his tongue at all, just mouths the feeders? You can always move the feeder further away so he's forced to use his tongue

Who Should Be The Daddy? Hunter? or Bane?

Oh geez! I don't have a good incubator right now, and it could be another year to year and a half, or more, before it comes in!

How should I position the lights?

12-15" from UVB bulb to basking branch is what'll work, as your cage spacing isn't small enough to interfere with the UVB rays
