Not a concern just a question

I guess I might have been wrong. I’ve found her a couple of times wandering around the bottom of her cage. Never in her damn lay bin tho. I hope she decides to use it.

She’s always had a lay bin in her cage. Just as a precaution. She does look a little plumper but not showing any different colours. No idea lol

Not a concern just a question

I’ve had my veiled for a bit over a year now. When I got her she was around 3-4 months old. I would have assumed she would have been gravid by now, and laid at least one clutch. I do have a lay bin in her cage. She has never shown any interest in it. Or any signs that she was gravid...

    Egg laying signs??

Thank you everyone! I have everything set up. I hope she likes her laying bin! I am still nervous. As I have just recently lost my male ambilobe. (He was sick from the day I received him). So I am a little worried that things won’t go well... it wouldn’t be that bad if I had a vet close to...

Thank you! Will be doing that tomorrow morning. Hopefully she shows interest in the bucket. I am reallllly nervous about this. Even though I’ve done a lot of reading on it.

    Egg laying signs??

Oh wow. I’ve been feeding her sooo much then. She’s got an amazing feeding response. And like I said, can eat so much. I will cut down more.

    Egg laying signs??

Her lay bin was permanent. But had to remove as I didn’t have the drainage aspect figured out. All the water was falling into her bucket of dirt!

    Egg laying signs??

I recently started feeding her every other day. About 10-12 large crickets. I’m not sure if it’s too much, but man she can really eat.

    Egg laying signs??

Ok, so my girl veiled is coming close to a year old now. She just got her yellow spots. She usually stays in one or two spots during the day. She never wanders around her cage. Or tries to get out. The passed few days, she’s been exploring more. And looking like she’s planning to escape lol...

    POOP

Well unfortunately, he’s gotten worse. Eyes closed, not moving. He’ll take water when I give him it. I’m convinced he was sick when I receive him, as I had previous issues with him. Then he seemed to get better and make progress! But now, does not look like he’ll make it!

    POOP

The vet weighed him when I took him in. (That’s basically all she did that was useful lol). I can’t remember how much it was tho. I’m thinking it would be a good idea to get a scale to keep track of his weight.

    POOP

Yes he isn’t that old. He’s actually smaller than most for his Age. His hatch date was December 20th. I’ve posted previously about him, when I first received him he would not eat at all for about 3 weeks. I force fed him for awhile, brought him to vet. The passed month is when he started eating...

    POOP

House is more humid now actually. We do not have AC in the house (unfortunately). He usually poops regularly. He only eats crickets, I’ve tried (and continue) to try and offer new feeders to him. He will not take anything except the crickets. His basking temps are the same as always mid 80s...
