    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Ok there she is this morning. So I've looked up info on that to see what you mean. Doesn't look like many of the pics i saw, but maybe in starting stages. I hope not! The vet did look in her mouth and felt her for any eggs forming and said there was nothing. I've had her for almost a week now...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Poor guy didn't have a chance. BUT Moana has been checked out and they said she looks great! Got her poo checked and she has no parasites or worms! I'm so glad! They also recommended a mercury vapor uvb and heat light combo that will spread through the...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Right, we are all heart broken, my daughter cried for a good hour. I do have good news though, I've got the temp and humidity at the right levels now for Moana. I got a 2nd heating lamp and another plant. And misting everything more often. She was licking water off her vines instead of the...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Oh boy, some sad news; Vader has died. Appearantly he did have parasites and the vet said it seemed that he was malnourished for a long time. So i don't really know where he came from but i can't believe someone let that beauty get that way! We're so upset. The vet said it was probably too late...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

The poo was white but had some yellow. There was some on the vine right under where he stayed so pretty sure it was his. But yea they said he was dehydrated and cold and they're going to check the poo to see if he's got anything. They're keeping him overnight to get him right so yay. So...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Oh true, i should have thought of that. The bulb in there says only 60w. I'll go get a stronger one. I know the temp can make them not eat but the female does fine and i know he's bigger but still i feel like something else is wrong. We've got an appointment for 11 so I'm going to find out to...

Thanks jannb And to the other one, i went and found a cricket house yesterday so I've got them in there eating, so they'll be ready for the chams tomorrow! (At least the girl if the other still won't eat, sigh) But hopefully the vet will figure out what's wrong because i really feel like...

I got them at a reptile show. I just didn't realize about the different care for different types and the cage thing, i mean i thought i was talking to an expert. She told me what to get, etc. But i got this. I've ordered a new cage, bigger. So hopefully it comes soon.

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Yes that's sad, i definitely don't want that to happen. I'm going to do my best to help this guy get what he needs. I've been reading everything i can find on these guys. I hope to be an excellent owner for them.

Well that's what i was told and the "female" is fairly smaller than the male. The crest is smaller as well.

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Ok so there's the white spot under his mouth and then that's the 2 of them this morning. I had to put Vader up there though. I had put him on the bottom last night on a log to see if he'd get some crickets, but he didn't and he was still there this morning when i got home. So i picked him up and...

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Oh and no i don't believe the female is gravid from the descriptions I've read. She doesn't bother him at all either. They chill on the different vines mostly, both go up near the lamp so they can both bask. And I'll try to get a pic of his mouth in the morning as well.

The water drips on the leafy vine to the right btw. And the real plant is the one on the bottom right.

    help for oustalet’s, not eating

Here's the set up i have so far, and i will work on getting more live plants. If there's anything else you think i need please let me know. They love the vines the best, probably since they go from the bottom all the way up.

Thank you for that information! Yes i had the multivitamins already and i just got the calcium yesterday. That's interesting about feeding the bugs, i just gave them to them but i will do that next time. Do you have some kind of bucket to put them in with food? I'm just thinking I'll have...
