Malarkey: Why don't you first describe your setup / attach pictures & give us a little background on your chameleon and how you've been caring for it. That's the only way we can make an educated guess on what is affecting it.

I'm on the Big Island and if anyone finds a place that sells silkworm eggs please let me know! Stacey's sells silkworms and crickets, but at way too high of a price to be used as a regular feeder. Also the Aquarium Store (which sells Jackson's for $20 each) sells crickets and meal worms. I'd...

    Phoenix Worms...

I highly recommend breeding Black Soldier Flys! Get a BioPod now! They destroy compost and do wonders for reptiles. I've got 3 Jackson's and 4 gold dust day geckos, where the only food I feed them is the "phoenix worms." They are in an 8'x8'x8' outdoor cage in Hawaii so plenty of other...

    Exotic Black Soldier Fly larvae

Get a BioPod! doesn't matter if you have Chameleons or not, it's a wonderful composting solution. I live in Hawaii and purchased one back in November or so and just didn't order the starter kit w live grubs. Doesn't matter though Black Soldier Flys are found in almost every part of the world...

    New Jackson

I would also suggest that if you're living in Hawaii to raise Black Soldier Flies (Phoenix Worms). I've got tons of them thriving in my compost and they are the main food source for my indoor gold dust day geckos. I'm currently building a 6' tall by 5' x 4' cage for Jackson's but haven't got...

Did you end up finding anyone selling roaches on the islands? There are lots of roaches by us, but all very fast, flying varieties. Not sure if Dubias are allowed into the islands though.

I have just caught them with my hands. I'm not sure which Island you're on, but some places, like Kona, are just crawling with them.

    hawaii?

The gold dust day geckos are wonderful pets in Hawaii too! I've got two that I've raised since babies living in my kitchen. I feed them bananas & phoenix worms and they eat any other insects that come inside. Besides that your options are quite limited, oh yeah also tortoises are ok.

    Jackson's Chameleon

Their temperament is better than veileds but not as good as panthers IMHO. Unless you cage is the size of a greenhouse I wouldn't keep more than one in a cage. I've seen lots of people do it here in Hawaii, but if you want a healthy chameleon then house them separately. Typical chameleon...

ALOHA Jacksons from HAWAII to SF

The coqui frog is a horribly invasive species in Hawaii - 70 frogs is nothing when you have thousands outside your house all chirping. The problem is that there are very few predators of the coqui and greenhouse frogs so their numbers just keep multiplying exponentially.

Moving Sale! - Huge Colony Dubia & Turkistan Roaches

I've got two massive colonies of roaches I need to get rid of. The first are dubia roaches - I separated out the adult females (what really counts in establishing a colony) and I had 252 (there are actually more, but I was sick of counting after 250 but I saw 2 more at the top). There must be...
