    How do we dispose of old uvb bulbs?

    I think home depots (at least where I live) collect them. I've known others to wrap them in a heavy garbage bag then break the bulb with a hammer and then put them in the trash... Not saying that's what you should do but I've known people who do that.

    OK 24hrs in ... Lots of sheds, not many dead crickets. Shook All the denris to a corner, waited 20min, shooed away the live ones amd vacuumed up the remaining. They love dry bug burger and flukers cricket diet. Also really love the cricket quencher. Wish me luck through the weekend.

    My 1000 crickets arrive today! Got some bug burger, flukers cricket diet. And flukers cricket water gel all ready. We'll see how long these last. I'll post a picture of my setup once I dump then in.

    Anyone use bioactive with crickets? Saw 2 videos on YouTube about using soil, leaf litter, and isopods with crickets and it helping to keep clean and also help reduce die off. I have 1000 crickets inbound and need to build their container.

    I wish my guy didn't stop eating dubias... I have a self sustaining colony but he won't touch them unfortunately. Going to buy 1000 and sew how that goes. I got a 56qt container from target so we'll see.

    Does too small a container contribute to die off? I have my 100 in a 5gal tote. I can try a larger one and see how that goes. Do most people have 2 bins to swap back and forth for cleaning?

    I agree with everything you said! I'll trim it back, it's just starting to get to be a jungle and I love it but I'll do some tactical trimming. And yes, I agree he looks healthy but he's not eating at a time I thought they should be packing on the pounds. Bur maybe I'm wrong.
