    Eye problems

Could possibly be can eye or sinus infection, keep an eye on it and look for a small bump in between, if more gunk appears or anything along those lines a vet checkup may be needed.

    Eye problems

That sounds good to me, also just dust with calcium and d3 twice a month as well, back to the eye, was he squinting at all and was there or is there a bump in between his eye and nose or head?

That sounds good, is the calcium you're feeding him without d3?

Alright, how long are your misting periods. And you stated he ate crickets with Rep Vitamins, is that all you dust them with?

    Post Vet Checkup!

So first time I brought Atlas to the vet, and... He's very very healthy, muscles are great, mouth and everything in all. Luckily my vet actually knew what she was talking about (she has a degree in zoology) though I knew the same amount because of this forum. Anyways all went well, luckily the...

Some backround info would be great as well, his behavior, if he's sitting and the bottom of the cage, things like that. But as of the pics he looks fine.

    Silkworm chow dubias?

I for one use cricket diet for superworms and they don't die from it, but it's a completely different scenario. Honestly I'd run the safe and healthy side and just purchase the Dubia's gutload, it's 6-8 dollars online I beleive.

    Vet Checkups

This thread is mostly full of questions about Vet Checkups, what to ask, what to get checked and etc. I have a personal vet that is very experienced with reptiles (luckily) which is very hard to come by in some places. I'm getting closer to Atlas' first checkup and just wanted to know what to...

    MBD?

Honestly, I agree with everyone saying the stress the chameleon is getting. They really aren't a show and tell animal unless someone walks in your house and watches it roam in it's cage. Really don't think it would be acceptable for a project. It's just an animal that isn't truly like a dog. If...

    Is moss safe?

Live moss is good for moisture but it has lots of downsides, Bacteria being number one in my opinion. Also your veiled may get some with his food or even go down and try to bite a piece, which then could get stuck and cause blockage. I like not using moss, if you wanted a live tree or plant they...

    Nutrition on Free range

Chameleons often go on hunger strikes, so don't be to worried if he doesn't eat for a couple days. But also that means you need to keep a close eye on them because they will start eating again after a couple days. However cup feeding normally works, what I do is i cut out a quart milk carton (i...
