Any ideas what kind of Cham this is?

This actually works out because I did order a few Jacksons as well. I'm honestly not sure how that mix up happens, but veiled are easier to find anyway.

Any ideas what kind of Cham this is?

I placed a new order over the weekend for a few chams, and received this girl and another that looks just like her. They are supposed to be 4-7 inch veilds, which they clearly aren't. Before I ask the seller I was curious if anyone knew just by looking. Perhaps female spiny chams?

    New Outdoor Enclosure

Thanks - I dug the poles pretty deep into the ground for the feeding cups. Figured that might give me a little control over feeding while they're in there. Of course there are plenty of native bugs that seem to have no problem finding their way into the enclosure!

    New Outdoor Enclosure

This is my new outdoor enclosure: Weekend project that turned into more of a marathon. It's 8x6x3 with aluminum screening and chameleon-safe plants. Substrate is peat moss. I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions from the group! I'm currently using it to house one of my adult veileds...

Summer outdoor enclosures for my 2 panther's. Ideas input please.

I too am building an outdoor enclosure - I'm using PVC pipe and aluminum screens. Mine is probably bigger than it needs to be (8x6x3), and I'll post pictures when it's done. Kudos on the effort to get your panthers some fresh air while it is nice!

    Help with rescued veiled

For the record, I found the initial reply lighthearted and obviously tongue in cheek. I do appreciate all of the feedback and have taken several poster's advice on treatment. And not worry, although new to the forums, I'm a seasoned attorney so it takes a lot to scare me off!

    Help with rescued veiled

I don't think she's been supplemented at all, nor has she produced any stool or urate since I've had her. The rest of her body looks perfectly normal. Good coloration, no signs of bone disease, etc. But she's clearly not well. I appreciate the tips - I'm reluctant to rack up vet bills, but...

    Help with rescued veiled

My local pet sore (family owned and very responsible) took in a female veiled as a customer surrender that appeared sick. I stopped by, saw her, and offered to try and help the poor thing in any way I could. They offered for me to just take her home in hopes she could be saved. So....I have...

    Photo Contest Tips

Quick "newbie" question... the contest rules state that Estabished Members can vote. Does that explain why I can't vote or see the results and if so, how does one become "Established"?

Are there many species that aren't available as CB that can only be imported?

    Risk/Reward of WC

I'm fairly new to the hobby (about 6 months), and I have read and heard very different opinions about WC vs CB. I'm sure this topic has been discussed at length before, but at the risk of beating a dead horse, here goes: It seems the process of collection, importation, and acclimation is...

@KapitalJ Thank you! He's quite a cross, and we're thrilled with his coloring!

How long should a chameleon stay out of his cage?

It's perfectly acceptable to let him have time outside of his cage. It will make them more well-adjusted and overall less inclined to be aggressive. Just let them decide when is the right time (i.e. don't force him out).

    Where to buy panthers?

I second that recommendation for Kammerflage Kreations. They are the best!
