    Cleaning cage need help now.

I had a problem with gnats as well. I pulled all three plants out cleaned the soil off and gently scrubbed the roots with dish soap. They haven't been back and the plants kept growing and stayed healthy. Good luck, hope you get rid of them. They are annoying.

    Happy Kevlar

A couple new additions to Kevlars cage. We added a new branch from the front to the back mid- level. He was crawling across the plant bed on the right, so he is happy to have that new perch and highway. Then we added vines on the bottom, so now he can get over to his hiding spot from the lower...

    Doing my homework -

I agree about not recycling the water. We almost mimicked the Dragon strand set up with the great stuff. Turned out awesome! To us at least. If I can give advice/ if you want some, take your time with the great stuff and draw out your set up. It can be a mess!! Good luck, show pics!!

Screencage or Terrarium because of Humidity

I live in wny, so even though we tend to have humidity outside when it snows, inside from heat, is dry. I was only able to keep humidity around 20 to 30 % . so we used a fogger over the winter. Directed into the back corner of the cage, it worked great!

    Some or none?

I have a water tight container on the bottom of my cage. It only sits a 1/2 in height so any crickets fall they crawl over the edge and is tight all the way around the outside of the cage. It collects all the water and anything that drops. I also use Dragon ledges, so all my plants are in...

What's your ideas? I was sceptical at first, mainly cause I didn't want something unnatural, but we did it so the plants are kinda surrounding it. If you didn't know it was there, you probably wouldn't see it. Send me a pic of you make a new one!

Low humidity areas/states/countries, how do you deal with this?

I live near Buffalo, NY. So we obviously have similar climates. I use the repti-fogger, monsoon mister and have 3 live plants. We also have a full screened enclosure and I can keep the humidity in there at 100% if I direct the fogger in the middle. It's facing the outer corner and I can keep it...

Enclosure too large?? Concerned new owner

Terrific! Good luck! If someone asked me from the beginning, I would have started with the large cage and raised the bottom up. Saves money on 2 cages.

Enclosure too large?? Concerned new owner

I would"raise" the bottom up a little. You will lose access through the bottom flip up door, but it's not for that long. If you are handy and have tools, just cut up a 2x4 to the height you want to raise it, so you will basically have 4 posts in each corner and 1 in the middle and place the pvc...

So Kevlar loves Dubias and is now eating super worms. We have been feeding them by hand, but that would take a little bit of time. So we bought a mixing cup, for stain. Cheap...1.29. A screen repair kit. Cheap...5.99. Cut the cup to the shape it is. Sprayed it black. Peeled and stuck 3 of the...
