It doesn’t affect him in anyway luckily. It almost has to be part of the piebald gene since it’s a lack of pigment. Will be interesting to see if some of the babies get it. Interesting article. I know inbreeding had been a problem with pieds since people wanted to increase the expression of the...

So today I noticed the iris of Picasso’s right eye is all black and the iris of his left eye is normal. Looked back at the pictures I took on the day we brought him home and they were like that. I’m not sure how I hadn’t noticed until now lol. Is this part of the translucent gene kinda like in...

I don’t see anything. He doesn’t have a heat lamp right now since the room he’s in is really warm during the day, so I’m not sure how he would get burnt. That’s just his coloring. He does have black and darker spots. It’s part of the pied bald. I appreciate your concern though!

My Panther seemingly not right, new member do need some help or suggestions.

Hi there welcome to the forums! Your little guy is gorgeous! Definitely fill out the a husbandry review. Scratching at the glass is not really an indication that you’re guy is ill. It actually can be a sign that he’s maturing and roaming his territory and or his cage is too small. With the...

Yeah and he’s grown a lot since I got him too. His body alone stretches across my whole forearm. Right haha I’ve been bit by them accidentally when feeding them and it really hurts

    Outdoor Parsons Enclosure

Haha thanks! I don’t think so, the one you built looks great, your little guy has so much space! No I got a large iguana cage someone else had built, but I wanna change cages again for them haha. The drainage was bad and with the amount of water they need it just doesn’t work well

:ROFLMAO: They really aren’t! Loki hates coming inside, it’s such a hassle to remove them from the enclosure because they always fight me on it

Some pictures of Ivy and Loki from the other day when I was bringing them back outside after it got cold at night. Loki just shed and Ivy is shedding so she’s a little crusty lol

Thanks everyone! Love the name suggestions! I think we’re gonna name him Picasso since he’s a little work of art lol. He truly is the sweetest male veiled we’ve ever met. He doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything and just likes hanging out. He also comes right out of the cage and chills. He...

Finally got their enclosure all set up again. Took forever to finally become warm enough here to get them out. Caught Loki head bobbing and following Ivy around the enclosure so hopefully they will lock at some point!

Can someone help me with sexing my panther chameleon

I agree with MissSkittles, the base of the tail does seem pretty thick and I think I see faint green throughout the body. I think only time will tell. Chameleons mature at their own rate just like everything else. I’ve seen super mature looking 4 month olds and some that look like hatchlings and...
