That's what I had a problem with my Cham wouldn't eat from a cup of any kind, hands or hunted, that was the only way..idk if letting the crickets loose was bad.

I have a fogged, and misted regularly, still too cold/not humid without substrate in my house. We keep it cold (under 73 in the day). I am trying to figure out drainage. And best cage designs, especially doors now too.

We used coconut substrate (the exoterra stuff) with our last Cham, I don't think I ever saw her walk on the ground... does it cause impaction from eating it? That's what the reptile place recommended as an easy way to up the humidity. I hated no substrate because the water issues get worse and...

So why not separate might make the cage you have suitable for one of them... if you use this maybe think of hanging lights over it so they can still get heat/uvb, and mist them while out.

Yeah those kits don't actually come with everything you need. Like the others have said lots more plants, a hygrometer, a dip system for them to drink from. Misting the cage regularly also keeps humidity up. Congrats on your little guy. This was my first chameleon set up. And then what I...

I was too because yesterday she was active and drinking so I was hopeful we could do something to save her. She turned so fast!

Vet says she had a stroke, she has uneven strength in her right side and has lost use of her back legs. She had to be euthanized today at 6:33.

She is breathing very shallow and she isn't opening her eyes much.

Headed back to the vet.
