I agree with Syn feed him any insects you find around were you found him that are no bigger than the width of his head. If he was wild he should accept anything small and non-poisonous. Good luck with your gecko
Please provide some pictures so that I can identify the gecko. I can tell you what you need to do. I do the same thing with all animals from rabbits with broken legs to wild turtles with cracked shells
This is actually healthy for them because, in their natural habitat of Yemen, they may have periods of time where they won't be able to find food for a couple of days. Don't worry man, your chameleon is gonna be fine
U Have to tell me how u made that cage. It looks absolutely AMAZING. A dream cage for most Cham keepers. Also just don't need any heating or lighting nighttime. They need a drop of temp at night. It's extremely healthy. Anything above 40 is perfect at night
When the urates in the chameleon are white, it usually means that he/she is fully hydrated. What signs made u think he was dehydrated? It could be something different or even more serious
Use a dripper system, if that doesn't work, try forcefully giving him a little water. f you aren't comfortable with giving him water forcefully take him to a vet
you are worrying ways to much. If the lamps turn off and he's asleep, just move really slowly and carefully and set the towel on top without making too much noise. Hell never know u were there;)
