Thanks for all the replies everybody. If she is gravid will she become agresssive towards me as well? She hasn't been eating but I still try and feed her and before she was a laid back chameleon wouldn't try and bite me or anything. Now if I open the cage and get close to her she will gap her...

    Possibly sick veiled chameleon

Are you letting the cage dry out between misting? misting every hour seems a lot. I usually mist only twice a day once in the morning once in the after noon. Also make sure there is no fungus or bacteria growing from the excessive misting.

    Soil for plants

as stated thats for starting seeds. I use organic potting soil and then use small river rocks to cover the top. After a few months you can either change out the soil or buy those fertilizer sticks and stick it into the soil for some fertilization. Have been using these methods problem free for a...

    What lights to use. Help!

Tropic blaze is way over priced in my opinion I purchased my t5 ho quad light for 60 bucks with 5 dollars shipping. It came with 4 6500k grow bulbs, and this sucker is bright. Plus its exactly 23 inch so it fits my 24×48 perfect.

    Grow lights for plants?

The plants I've had the best luck with are potho, umbrella, ficus, and bromeliads. If you go with a 4 bulb setup with t5 ho you might be able to keep an hibiscus alive though I never tried it yet so I'm just guessing.

    Grow lights for plants?

My chameleon loves the light! He always is out enjoying the rays or basking under the heat lamp. The only time he really hides is at night. All my chams display fantastic colors on 6500k bulbs.
