I have now ordered my vivarium and in contact with someone about mesh and going to get my husband to do screen lid

What type of mesh could I use

I was thinking about doing that to allow adequate air flow and cutting in some exta vents

I have read mixed reviews on screened and would much prefer to use wooden for three reasons, dogs, kids and dont want moisture on my walls as in wooden home.

I am planning on getting a chameleon yemen and have been told a 45x45x60 exo terra is plenty but doesnt feel like it to me and said I could use heat mat instead of ceramic heater. Just like some advice on this please.
