Hi, I took my 4 month old panther to the vet, just for a check up. I didn't have a fecal sample but the vet gave him a little bit of dewormer, just to be safe he said. But the dewormer he used said "livestock dewormer" I didn't see the brand, just that it was for livestock.
My question is, is...
I myself could only give you advice based on my limited experience, but should anyone more qualified see this, it would help if you were to provide these details:

has it been in your care?
Handling...
My panther did this when I first got him and whenever I change his cage around. He eats but I cant find his poop for the first few days, sometimes a little longer. I think it takes a little bit before he's comfortable enough to poop in a new environment.
And I'm sure when your little guy does...
That's a good thought but his eyes don't seem to be bothering him at all. They're still sagging but don't seem to be getting any better or worse. If I do see it worsen or if it does start to bother him I will certainly take him to the vet. It doesn't actually seem like there is any fluid or...

I'm just curious,
If the correct ratio between Calcium, Multivitamin, and D3 are being delivered, then why is the almost daily and twice a week method ideal?
Happy 1000th post.
Repashy's Calcium Plus claims it's
"an all-in-one insect dusting powder that provides essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements which transforms insects into a food item that has an optimal calcium/phosphorus ratio."
The directions call for a light coating with every feeding.
I had...
Hmm, I imagine that this cant be too uncommon then? He seems just fine but Im alittle worried that he needs sleep he isn't getting.

I've designed my humidity and misting so that it can pretty much be left alone. I've used a sprinkler valve and timer (as regular garden water timers did not provide the necessary scheduling) to run 4 times a day without needing to be refilled. My humidifiers are also fed from a hose so they do...
I should add that these fluctuations only on random days, for the entire day. So the lights will come on one morning, and stay at the normal temp all day, and on some other day, they will turn on and reach those highs, all day... Could it possibly have something to do with the fact that i'm in a...
Right, I forgot the wattage of the bulbs, thanks. I have 2 basking spots 1 has 100 watt bulb and a 75 watt bulb. Both provide the same normal temp and both produce the same spike.
And I have both digital and an analog thermometer under those spots. Both, when the lights are off, show the same...
Hello wonderful people of Chameleon Forums!
I've had my Cham, Erebus (Panther), for about a month now. Everything has been wonderful, except i've noticed that on some days, his basking area (normally 90-95°) will rise up to 110°! I raise the lights over his cage, sometimes up to a foot and a...
First shed!
This was Erebus' first shed with me, and I love the colors hes starting to show.
But he didn't want to sit still long enough for my camera to focus. So I'll try to take some better pictures soon.
