she rarely eats it really...I think mostly for moisture. She doesn't eat greens or salad very often she prefers to hunt! But I have seen her eat some spinach and her plant leaves occasionally.

Hey guys, just curious how concerned I should really be that my Chameleon, Penelope, is eating her pothos plant. I have heard they can be toxic to some and usually only in large quantities but I've also heard of peoples chameleons eating the entire plant and were completely unphased.

Most experienced handlers would suggest to handle them as early as possible and to coax them onto your hand via food or to gently tap their tail or back legs as you lay your hand out in front for them so they can climb on.DO NOT GRAB THEM BY THE BACKSIDE unless absolutely necessary...

If she is dehydrated it's not extreme because I was just looking at pictures of poop LoL and its not that off color

Oh and I only said "brown/green" because occasionally it has a very slight tint but it's brown no worries there. She doesnt eat the plant that i know of and i only feed her live crickets and worms, but i do gutload my crickets with carrots and spinach usually.
